ADEBUTU MEANS WELL FOR OGUN STATE - KASHAMU


Senator Buruji Kashamu has finally succumbed and surrendered in the ongoing PDP feud in Ogun State as he made a public declaration of the facts that Oladipupo Adebutu means well for Ogun State.

Kashamu said, "I was not even ready for the race. I had no intention to run for any office. I need to rest. We have tried our best in nation building. Adebutu is energetic, sound and prepared to man the affairs of Ogun State. We will support him. We have to respect party leadership. We are party loyalists too".

Kashamu went further to call on all his supporters to accord Adebutu the needed supports to get him to the office. He said, "for a better Ogun State Administration, only Adebutu means well. He has no criminal records or financially related issues with anyone. Hence, let's all give him the supports".

The National leadership of the Peoples Democratic party on Friday presented the PDP official Governorship flag to Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu and his deputy, Alhaja Opeyemi Jemilat Alagbe as the party candidates for the 2019 Gubernatorial election in Ogun State. According to a release issued by the Media Consultant to Ladi Adebutu Democratic Organisation, Secondus was quoted to have said "after obtaining the nomination forms from the Party Secretariat, Ladi Adebutu participated in the candidates' screening exercise and was duly elected in the party's primary election conducted by our National working Committee, therefore, he is qualified to be the flag bearer of our party in Ogun Stat

Do Not Campaign in Ogun State - INEC Tells Buruji Kashamu

Today, in a letter written by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), signed by its Director of Legal Services, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola to Senator Buruji Kashamu in Ogun State, content of which stops Kashamu not to campaign for any political posts in the state. Copy of the letter which was not released for publicity by Newsmen richly detailed certain reasons with legal references why the Senator has been asked to desist from his campaign plans.

OMO ILU FOUNDATION CONSOLES KASHAMU

In his residence, Buruji Kashamu received members of Omo Ilu Foundation who came to console him after court's reaffirmation of his expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party. The Delegation of Omo Ilu Foundation on consolation trip to Buruji Kashamu said they were appointed to pay a visit to their boss, Senator Buruji Kashamu and encourage him. Leader of the Delegation Ade Alatishe however, pointed out that the Omo Ilu Foundation may have to move to another party, thanking God that everything happened when they still have other opportunities to take advantage. In his own speech to members of Omo Ilu Foundation, Sen Buruji Kashamu asked his followers not to relent in their efforts as they are set to move on in another political party. "If we are asked to leave, it is not the end as PDP is not the only platform on which we can contest elections", Kashamu said.
