Breaking: BURUJI LOSES OUT AS APPEAL COURT OVERRRULES LOWER COURT ORDER

The Appeal Court sitting in Ibadan today, Tuesday 18 December 2018 has overruled the lower court order on which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) acted to publish List of Candidates singularly submitted to the Commission by Sen Buruji Kashamu and Chief Bayo Dayo. The Appeal Court while passing its judgment asked the Commission to revert it's earlier decision as the High Court Order in Abeokuta was misleading and against the standing rule of Electoral Acts. The Appeal Court went further to state categorically that: "Only list of candidates submitted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is valid, authentic and legal. Hence, compelled INEC to make official public announcement of list earlier submitted by PDP National Executives that no single person under law has the right to sponsor any candidate except on a party platform, which must be recognised by party leadership from above". More so, the Appeal Court referred to the judgment of the Federal Hig

Court Compels INEC To Accept PDP’s List In Ogun Against Kasamu's List

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has mandated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to accept the Ogun State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Assembly Candidates submitted by the National Executive Council. The National Assembly candidates under the structure of Sikirulai Ogundele had earlier petitioned the Abuja High Court, challenging the stance of INEC on accepting the list of the Bayo Dayo led group. The applicants in one of their submissions described the primaries conducted by the Bayo Dayo’s group as a ‘Mushroom’ one, with electoral deficiency. In their prayers, the National Assembly candidates jointly declared to the court that stipulations of the party constitution empowers the National Executive Council of the party as the only statutory organ recognised to supervise, regulate and conduct primary elections to all elective positions. The applicants requested an order of perpetual injunction from the court restraining INEC from accepting a

The Appeal court sitting in Ibadan on Monday, 17th December declared Tuesday, 18th December as date to deliver its judgement on the matter brought before it by the Peoples Democratic Party against the Bayo Dayo led group sponsored by Senator Buruji Kashamu on an order of interlocutory injunction granted by the Federal High Court in Abeokuta on the 2nd of October, 2018. The proceeding which lasted over two hours had the counsel to the plaintiff, Emeka Etiaba SAN, further buttressed his position as earlier presented in the Appellant's filled briefs hammering on Non service and Lack of fair hearing. Emeka Etiaba SAN, established why the order granted by Justice Abubakar should be vacated and justification for the Appellant's prayers. He also made references to similar cases and the judgements given in favour of the prayers same as that of his clients. The respondents' Counsel, Dr. Alex Izion SAN, amongst his defense urged the court not to consider the prayer of the appl

Agbaje: Why I Dumped Tinubu

Governorship candidate of Lagos State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Jimi Agbaje, has given reason why he left the camp of the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying he did based on differences in principles as he took exception to the rule of one man dictating how Lagos should be governed and who should be put in charge of what. Agbaje said this in a statement issued by the Media Officer of his campaign organisation, copy of which was made available to newsmen in Lagos. It would be recalled that Agbaje had parted ways with Tinubu in 2007 to join the Democratic Peoples’ Alliance (DPA) as its governorship candidate. “I take exception to the rule of one man in a metropolitan state like Lagos,” the PDP gubernatorial candidate said. This was just as Agbaje lamented the inability of successive administrations in the state to account for the expenditure of over N7trillion revenue in the last 19 years. The P

In his own speech to members of Omo Ilu Foundation, Sen Buruji Kashamu asked his followers not to relent in their efforts as they are set to move on in another political party. "If we are asked to leave, it is not the end as PDP is not the only platform on which we can contest elections", Kashamu said.

Buruji is APC's Employee - Adebutu

The PDP governorship candidate in Ogun State, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu while addressing party daithful, candidates and supporters of PDP from all the local government areas in Ogun State implored people to desist from broadcasting Buruji and his Omo Ilu because they are no more relevant in today's politics. Buruji Turns A Clown, Hands Self Fake Party Flag

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says it has only but pity for Senator Kashamu Buruji , for finally turning himself into a clown, in his desperate bid to destabilize the PDP as part of his pact with the Buhari Presidency, which is threatening him with imminent extradition from Nigeria over alleged international fraud. The party describes as the height of ridicule, Senator Buruji’s purported presentation of himself as Ogun governorship candidate of the PDP for which he had to organize his own sham campaign rally, rented an audience and presented a fake PDP flag to himself, after the authentic flag had been handed to the PDP candidate, Ladi Adebutu, by the PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus. Senator Buruji, in his forced hallucination, has failed to realize that Nigerians, particularly the voters in Ogun State, have seen through his antics; they know that he is not the PDP governorship candidate in Ogun state; they know that he has a pact with the All Progressives

Ogun Guber: You’re APC’s Agent, Impostor, PDP Tells Buruji …Insists Adebutu is its Candidate

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has exposed the senator representing Ogun East, Senator Kashamu Buruji as a desperate paid agent of anti-democratic forces working to cause confusion, trigger violence and bloodletting in the 2019 general election and derail our hard-earned democracy. The party says Senator Buruji is an interloper and impostor, who would soon face prosecution for printing and selling fake PDP nomination forms to members of the public, in violation of the provisions of the Electoral Act and the PDP constitution, which vest such powers only on the party’s National Working Committee. Senator Buruji would also face the law for conducting phony governorship primary in Ogun state, with the name and colors of the PDP, an activity which only the National Working Committee has the powers to conduct and which it had done after which it submitted the name of our Ogun governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the stipula

ADEBUTU MEANS WELL FOR OGUN STATE - KASHAMU

Senator Buruji Kashamu has finally succumbed and surrendered in the ongoing PDP feud in Ogun State as he made a public declaration of the facts that Oladipupo Adebutu means well for Ogun State. Kashamu said, "I was not even ready for the race. I had no intention to run for any office. I need to rest. We have tried our best in nation building. Adebutu is energetic, sound and prepared to man the affairs of Ogun State. We will support him. We have to respect party leadership. We are party loyalists too". Kashamu went further to call on all his supporters to accord Adebutu the needed supports to get him to the office. He said, "for a better Ogun State Administration, only Adebutu means well. He has no criminal records or financially related issues with anyone. Hence, let's all give him the supports".

Oladipupo Adebutu and his deputy, Alhaja Opeyemi Jemilat Alagbe as the party candidates for the 2019 Gubernatorial election in Ogun State. The National Chairman of the Party, Prince Uche Secondus while handing over the flag at the PDP Wadata house in Abuja said Adebutu like other candidates from other states fulfilled all provisions by the electoral law and the party constitution to emerge as the party Candidate in Ogun State. NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEBUTU - PDP

We know that a lot of our supporters from Ogun State were hoping to hear us announce Oladipupo Adebutu at the party Zonal Presidential Campaign in Ibadan but we didn't to protect lives and properties. We Will Arrest Buruji Kashamu - Barr Emmanuel Enoidem

The PDP National Legal Adviser, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem in a statement, had publicly made it known to Senator Buruji Kashamu who is reportedly parading himself as PDP gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State on the Order of a Federal High Court in Abeokuta and his 'Omo Ilu" team to refrain from carrying items of any kind on which the party logo is inscribed as this is unlawful and absolute disregard to party authority. "There is no way we can sponsor two candidates for one office at a time. Everything we did at Ogun Primaries was fair, transparent and devoid of partiality. Only one person made his intention known to the party in the state and that is Hon Oladipupo Adebutu. More so, the only party chairman in the state is Hon Sikirulai Ogundele. We shall not destroy the house built diligently by us". However, the party National Legal Adviser said that if Buruji is sighted anywhere in Ogun State after this warning, he shall get arrested. "We have reported to the
